Amber is a native of Colorado Springs, CO and graduated from Mitchell HS. She has been a regionally ranked competitor and instructor in Karate under the AAU and USA Karate for 11 years. Additionally she has a background in classical ballet and Irish dance. She is currently pursuing circus and aerial arts working primarily in fabric and sling. She attended Colorado Technical University receiving an Associate & Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication and Digital Media Design before choosing to pursue a therapy career. She then attended Pueblo Community College, graduating with highest honors for both the college and Phi Theta Kappa with an Associates of Applied Science in Physical Therapy Assisting. Amber’s approach to physical therapy is heavily based around strengthening through the use of therapeutic exercise, with modalities only as needed. In addition to being a Physical Therapy Assistant, her certification as an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) allows her to work with patients of all types, from post operative joint replacements to young athletes returning to sport following injury, and she loves both equally.
Outside of the clinic, Amber enjoys spending time with her cat (Bruce) and dog disabled puppy (Ollie) as well as knitting, crocheting, and hanging upsidedown on various circus apparatus.
