Mac was born and raised in Detroit, MI. He served honorably in the United States Army for 12 years before attending the University of Michigan where he earned the degree of Masters of Physical Therapy. He later achieved the distinction of Doctor of Physical Therapy at Temple University. Mac and his wife Beth were the original founders/owners of Falcon Physical Therapy in 2004, beginning their career as small business owners. It was there that his love of community and service evolved.
Mac created the Community Outreach Program (in which all CISM employees participate) help with medical coverage at local events. Mac is credentialed through the Olympic Training Center and was the Team Physical Therapist for USA Judo during the London Olympic Games in 2012. He continues to work with high level and professional athletes alike, USA basketball and USA Figure Skating athletes among them.
Mac has been a guest lecturer at the University of Michigan for 15 years and has been involved with Big 10 conference working with basketball referees on recovery and nutrition.
When Mac is not working or traveling the world he enjoys the Colorado outdoors with his wife, Beth and his beloved dogs! Being a lifelong Michigan Wolverine fan Saturdays find him either in Ann Arbor or on his couch cheering on the team!
